BULK STORAGE
Storage in bulk is an effective and economical way of storage. Effective because it is a direct ventilation system what means that 100% of the air distribution coming from the fan is forced to pass the product. With a good engineered bulk system all the product will receive the same amount of air, what creates a perfect temperature and humidity balance all over the pile.

A bulk system needs an air plenum where the fans are mounted and where the air is distributed to the air ducts. Air inlet and outlet hatches are needed for ventilating with outside air. Around the air inlet hatch, mixing boxes are placed to ensure a good temperature of the air blown through the product. Additional cooling, heating, humidifying and drying are used to achieve optimal air conditions for the stored product.
